“Our new Constitution is now established, and has an appearance that promises permanency; but in this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes. ”
In any given tax year, the IRS expects to receive around 150 million personal tax returns. We used to subscribe to the theory of, “If you know what you’re doing to file your own taxes, go for it!” However, with all of the tax changes that have taken place from 2017 (Tax Cuts and Jobs Act), 2020 (CARES Act and CAA) and 2021 (American Rescue Plan), if you’re reading this webpage, you probably shouldn’t go at it alone with your taxes. You wouldn’t diagnose your own medical issues without a doctor. You probably don’t want to do your taxes without a tax professional either.
Tax Appointments at Your Convenience
The COVID-19 pandemic has obviously been devastating to everyone across the world, but one of the good things that stemmed from it is the fact that the world is now a lot smaller. We are able to service clients from coast-to-coast without anyone ever leaving their living room. We have shifted our business model to more virtual appointments via Zoom than anything else, and it’s providing us better opportunities to serve more clients on a faster basis.
We also have limited availabilities for appointments at our location in Casselberry. Our Leesburg office has closed. Please visit our Scheduling Page to book an appointment.
Since we know you have a busy work schedule, we are available for virtual night and weekend appointments during tax season, too.
Appointment times fill up quickly late in the tax season, and we encourage you to book your appointment with us by March 15. We cannot guarantee any tax return that we receive after March 15 will be completed without an extension.
Secure E-Filing or Paper Filing Options Available
In the day of age of technology, most taxpayers are choosing to file their tax returns electronically. With our secure tax transmitting software, you can rest assured that your data is as secure as possible.
Though we encourage you to file your tax returns electronically when possible, if you prefer to file a paper return, we can either transmit all of the documents to you through our secure server or send them to you via mail. However, we discourage all taxpayers from filing via paper when possible. Starting in 2022, taxpayers who elect to file their tax return via paper when electronic filing is available will be subject to a $25 paper filing fee.
Tax Checkup
Do you want a second set of eyes to check over your previously filed tax return? We'll be happy to help. A second look at your tax return comes at no cost obligation to our clients. We will only charge you if we can amend your tax return and save you more money than we would charge for the amendment.
Pricing
We don't believe in set fees for our tax preparation services since each tax return and every tax document are different. Our minimum fee for simple tax returns is $300. Fees are based on the amount of the time the return should take to prepare. We do not charge by the form like you will find at other many other accounting firms. You will receive an engagement letter with our estimated price for your taxes in advance of preparation so there aren’t any surprises when we complete the job. If you have any questions about the cost of your income tax preparation, you can fill out this form, and a member of our team will get back to you with a no-obligation, completely free quote giving you a range of the cost of your tax return.
